About Us

Robin’s Nest Learning Center in Carterville is where the story of Robin’s Nest first began. Founded by Robin Moore, the center was created from her vision of a place where children could feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. Through years of dedication, compassion, and a deep belief in the power of early education, Robin built Robin’s Nest into a trusted part of the community and a place families could truly rely on.

That passion for nurturing children naturally carried into the next generation. Robin’s daughter, Brittany Rodriguez, grew up around the classrooms, teachers, and families that make Robin’s Nest so special. Over time, what started as simply being part of the environment became a lifelong calling. Brittany dedicated her career to the Nest, learning the program from the ground up and building meaningful relationships with the children and families she serves.

In 2025, Brittany graduated from National Louis University with her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, further strengthening the knowledge and leadership she brings to the center. At the beginning of 2026, Brittany officially stepped into leadership of the Carterville location, continuing the work her mother started. Robin remains closely involved, offering guidance and support while passing on the experience and values that helped shape Robin’s Nest from the very beginning.

Today, the Carterville Nest represents both the roots and the future of Robin’s Nest. With Brittany carrying forward the mission and Robin continuing to mentor and guide, the center remains dedicated to the same promise it was founded on — nurturing children with love, building confidence through learning, and helping shape the future leaders of our world.
