- Creativity & Fine Motor Growth – Dictated art, imaginative self-expression, and advancing cutting skills with detailed shapes and patterns strengthen both creativity and coordination.

Each week, teachers track your child’s skills to celebrate progress and set new goals. At Robin’s Nest, advancement is based on skills and readiness—not just age—so every milestone paves the way for a confident step into the next classroom.
Language & Early Writing Skills
Building sentence structure, practicing writing between lines, and developing expressive language through dictated art, self-expression activities, and early storytelling.
Math & Cognitive Development
Counting numbers 1–30, learning days of the week, months, and weather concepts, while practicing sequencing, recall, predictions, and prepositions to strengthen problem-solving and logical thinking.
Advanced Pre-Literacy & Early Reading Skills
Progressing from Handwriting Without Tears to dot-to-dot letter formation, recognizing both upper- and lowercase letters, and beginning to sound out letters to connect print to spoken language.
Fine Motor & Creative Skills
Advancing scissor skills to cut more intricate shapes and patterns, refining coordination, and engaging in creative expression through art and hands-on activities.
